Minimum pay depends on factors such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"877\">Classification level (Introductory, Level 1, Level 2, etc.)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"877\">Employment type (full-time, part-time, casual)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"877\">Work type\/stream (general hospitality roles vs casino classifications)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"877\">When the shift is worked (weekday, evening, weekend, public holiday, overtime)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"title-idx-0\" class=\"icon-anchor\">Changes in Pay Rates<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1162\" data-end=\"1289\">Hospitality Award pay rates generally change from <strong data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1232\">1 July each year<\/strong> following the Fair Work Commission\u2019s Annual Wage Review.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1291\" data-end=\"1586\">For <strong data-start=\"1295\" data-end=\"1303\">2025<\/strong>, Fair Work confirmed a <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1367\">3.5% increase to minimum award wages<\/strong>, applying from the <strong data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1445\">first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2025<\/strong>. Fair Work also updated its pay tools and resources (including pay guides and PACT) for the new rates.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"title-idx-1\" class=\"icon-anchor\">Hospitality Award Pay Rates 2025<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1577\">Hospitality Award Pay Rates 2025 were adjusted following the Fair Work Commission\u2019s <strong data-start=\"1170\" data-end=\"1202\">2024\u20132025 Annual Wage Review<\/strong>. From the <strong data-start=\"1213\" data-end=\"1271\">first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2025<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1314\">minimum award wages increased by 3.5%<\/strong>, including rates under the <span style=\"color: #3366ff\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff\" href=\"https:\/\/library.fairwork.gov.au\/award\/?krn=MA000009\"><strong data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1393\">Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009]<\/strong><\/a><\/span>. Other award wages (such as junior, apprentice and supported wages that are based on adult minimum wages) also received proportionate increases.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1049\" data-end=\"1084\">Hospitality Award Pay Rates 2026<\/h2>\n<p>The Fair Work Commission announced significant pay increases for millions of workers when it released its Annual Minimum Wage Review in June 2025.
