To be a responsible officer Type 6, he has to fulfil basic elements as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educational or other qualifications or experience<\/li>\n<li>Passed one of the recognized industry qualifications\uff08Basic element\uff09<\/li>\n<li>Pass\u00a0Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE) Paper 7 and Paper 11 organized by the\u00a0Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Can be Compensated by\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Law; or other degree (with passes in at least two courses in the above disciplines); or<\/li>\n<li>Internationally recognized professional qualifications in Law, Accounting or Finance2; or<\/li>\n<li>Passes in English or Chinese, and Mathematics in HKCEE or equivalent3 plus an additional 2 years relevant industry experience4; or<\/li>\n<li>An additional 5 years relevant industry experience.<\/li>\n<li>Possesses\u00a03 years relevant industry experience over the 6 years immediately prior to the date of application<\/li>\n<li>Has a minimum of 2 years proven management skill and experience<\/li>\n<li>Passed one of the recognized local regulatory framework papers<\/li>\n<li>Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries(LE) Paper 1 (not applicable for full licensed representatives) and Paper 5 organized by the\u00a0Hong Kong Securities Institute (HKSI).<\/li>\n<li>To be\u00a0a\u00a0responsible officer for\u00a0Type 6, he should fulfil\u00a0the\u00a0element of 3 years relevant industry experience on IPO and mergers and\u00a0share repurchases.
