With AWS Web Application Firewall WAF, we created security rules that control bot traffic and block common attack patterns such as SQL Injection or Cross-Site Scripting XSS. We use firewalls to restrict access and protect data from unauthorised access. While Denial-of-Service attack mitigation techniques also prevent unauthorised down-time.
