What are Hospitality Awards Rates?

Hospitality Awards Rates for professionals in the hospitality industry in Australia are established at $22.36 per hour. This rate applies to individuals working in various accommodations such as motels, hotels, resorts, service apartments, caravan parks, as well as establishments like casinos, nightclubs, restaurants, wine bars, and taverns. Eligible employees under these sectors receive the higher amount between a 4.6% increase or $40, ensuring they meet the specified minimum wage standards.

Hospitality Award Pay Rates 2024

The Fair Work Commission announced significant pay increases for millions of workers when it released its Annual Wage Review judgement in June 2023.This year from 1 July, Hospitality Award staff are entitled to a 5.75% boost to their current minimum hourly pay rates.
